Polling Software Advancements and Corrections by Build Number

V7 Build 171-220 - November 25, 2005 thru February 28, 2006 - Full Release Version

General Changes:

• Version 7 now supports the CASIO TE-8500 both IPL 1.35 and 1.40
• Barcode printing now available on all registers, except Sharp 410/420 ROM 1A (the limitation is within the register).
• Users will now be prompted when their items left in their pending files.  This prompt will only appear on manual polls.  Users have the choice of either running the events or deleting them. 
• The software can now run the calendar automatically on a network installation.  When the software opens V7 verifies the tables, if the tables are already open by another system, the checks will be skipped.
• With these new additions Windows 98 and ME users may not be able to launch V7 Polling.  All builds above 170 should be run on Windows 2000, NT or XP.  Windows 98 and ME users will need to either stay at build 170 or upgrade their PC.

TEC 1595 Changes:

• Addition of the Version 6 ROM.

Sam4s 7000 Changes:

• The EJ report now displays the area1 data instead of area 2
• Addition of 1.46 and 1.50 ROM versions to the 7000/7040

Sharp 600/700 Changes:

• The PLU stock and enhanced dynamic upc report has been added to the software
• The condiment table save and send had been added to the software
• Version 3 ROM for gift cards was also added
• Users can not save, send the customer program and take the customer sales report
• General access errors were corrected on the reporting area
• Processing of the report has been changed to work on slower PCs
• Enhancements were made to work with 11,000+ PLU files saving and sending
• The Positive and Negative Number programs were added to the software

CASIO 8500 Changes:

• The software will poll both the daily and multipurpose area reports
• The software supports both 19200 and 9600 baud rates
• The PLU and Dept. reports now display random codes on the 1.40 ROM reports
• The software will save, send and maintain PLU 2nd at
• Pulldown group, shift PLU, mix and match, and employee have save, send and maintenance areas
• The software will save the Free Function program
• The software will properly display double wide characters on the reports
