Polling Software Advancements and Corrections by Build Number

V7 Build 119 - May 17, 2005 - Full Release Version

Software Changes:

• Initial release of Sharp 600 and Sharp 700 software: RS232 and TCP/IP communications.
• The length of the phone number field was extended to 30 digits.
• Within all PLU/UPC maintenance areas the software was modified to display colors on the class fields to indicate that those are custom fields added by PC/POLL for advanced users.
• The Ctrl-A keyboard command was added to the PLU/UPC area to allow users to select all the grid records.  To use simply click on the grid and then hit Ctrl-A.
• 1595 ROM V.001.004 was added to the software.
• Changes were made to the 7000/7040 PLU-PLU Stock-PLU Minimum Stock areas to pad stock fields with 0 if they are unused.
• A correction was made to the 7000/7040 for conducting reports on multiple registers.

V7 Build 111-112 - April 19, 2005 - Full Release Version

General Changes:

• V7 Archive Agent has been added to the V7 software module.  This product must be purchased separately.  For more information on the product see the product section of this web site.  For pricing contact your dealer. 
• The software has been enhanced to retain the last used machine between executions of the program.  When the software is closed the current machine, that is in use, will be written to a log file.  When the software is reopened that machine will automatically be selected for the user.
• The most recent area program list is being retained between executions of the program.  The software will log and track the last 5 programs used per machine.
• The software now allows users to setup and use different program ids for their PLU and PLU Sale programs.
• PC/POLL SYSTEMS has modified the import and export routines.  As part of this modification default values are being added for partial import routines. 
• V7 now supports 2 digit comm. port numbers. 
• The History area of V7 will now capture failed logging when the user's modem is turned off.
• Logging options have been changed to check the installation path and use that path to create the log files.

TEC 1595 Changes:

• The V7 software will now pad empty fields string fields on program sends to help users avoid "got exception" errors.
• The 1595 preset code area now supports upc values.
• The TEC 1595 flat keyboard has been added to the software.

Sam4s 7000 Changes:

• The Time Period maintenance area has been added to the software.
• The General Function Options maintenance area has been added to V7.
• A modification was made to the Serial Port program to add support for PDC devices.
