Open your Internet browser
Load the website
Enter
http://www.pcpoll.com
(in all lower case) as the address. (You may need to press enter or return to
begin loading the web site.) If you
have been to our site before make sure to refresh the web page. Some browsers do
not do this automatically for you, so you will not be able to view the current
information on our page until you refresh.
Choose Products on the top menu links
Choose the product you wish to download on the left-hand side menu
Select the PC/POLL Product which you want to download. This link will
load a page with the product you selected.
Click on Version under Download on the right-hand side of the screen
Find the blue download link on the right-hand side of the screen.
V6 Polling and PC/Capture have separate
download links for different manufacturers. Click on the blue
link that corresponds to the file you need.
Complete the Survey
Please fill out all relevant areas of the survey. This will help keep our records up to date and ensure that we will be
able to contact you, if necessary. Then, click the button labeled Submit
Survey when you are done entering information.
Survey Verification
Your internet browser will now display the email address that you entered as
part of the survey and some additional instructions. The download will
start automatically. If you have a slower internet connection it may take
a few seconds.
Selecting the File Location
If your browser does not have a default location specified for downloading
files, the internet browser will display a series of screens asking what to do
with the file and where to save it. This part differs slightly depending on the kind of browser
being used. To run the install on the computer you are using to download, then
select the run option. This will download the file and then run
the install program from a temporary directory.
Run the Install
If you choose to save the install file to your
hard drive you will have to run the downloaded file before the program will
run on your computer. Locate the file on your computer through Windows
Explorer and double-click on the file to run the install program.
