TEC Advancements and Corrections

TEC INSTALL

The TEC full install will place a Version Six Tec icon on the user's desktop and not replace the TEC beta icons.  Please delete the beta icons in order to avoid confusion.

TEC Report Enhancements

Report corrections and modifications were made for all the TEC registers: 1350, 1650, 1450 and 2600.

TEC REPORT HEADERS

The TEC report header area has been modified. In the past the Poll Type area displayed values such as V, X, and R. That is have been changed so that only X and Z are displayed. The Poll Area has also been modified. See explanation below:

Area 1 = Standard X or Z report
Area 2 = Standard GTX or GTZ report
Area 3 = Consolidated/Master Only X or Z report
Area 4 = Consolidated/Master Only GTX or GTZ report

TEC Z COUNTERS

The Z counter values have been added to all TEC Z reports. The TEC registers do not send Z counters on X reports, thus those values will always be 0.

TEC 1350 REPORT HEADERS

Report headers have now been added to all 1350 reports.

TEC 2600 PLU SEND

Some users were experiencing problems sending $0.00 priced items. That error has been corrected.

TEC 2600 MENU KEY PROGRAMMING

The Menu key program has been added to the save, send, and maintain area of the program.

TEC 2600 and MA1650 IRC BROADCAST

The ability to broadcast programs to all register within a 2600 or MA1650 IRC setup has been added to the software. Within the Terminal Connection program users have the option to select which terminals within the IRC will receive the program changes. To activate this new option consult the USER NOTE at the top of this message followed by a SAVE ALL on the register. NOTE: All programs are sent to the Master register and then to the selected satellite(s). Users can not disable the send to the Master register.
