The consolidation reports now contain headers on top of each report that list the selected consolidation options.
Additions have been made the FAQ section of the Help Files.
Starting with beta build 521, PC/POLL SYSTEMS will be offering a downloadable version of the software that contains all four register manufacturers: TEC, CRS, Sharp, and Samsung. By purchasing licenses for the aforementioned machines, users can use one Version Six Data directory for all four manufacturers. Please note that this build only works for systems using Windows 2000 and Windows NT software!
In former versions of the software Windows 2000 users experienced difficulty viewing and printing large report files. That error was a result of Win2000’s location of its temp folder. The error has been corrected and users will be able to view all of their reports.
The 2.21 program save Access Violations have been corrected. It is recommended that users delete their old 2.21 machines are recreate them using the same Program ID as to avoid losing access to saved data.
Currently the Samsung 1000 is being tested, and several saving errors have been corrected on the 3.01 ROM. Please contact support@pcpoll.com if you encounter any 3.01 errors. Programming is also in the process of adding a higher version 3 ROM to the software.
The Samsung 5100 register is still in beta release, however many advancements in program saves and sends have been added to this version. The keyboard overlay maintenance has also been added. The register itself does not support a keyboard save and send.
On builds 506-509 Samsung 6500 / 6540 users experienced difficulty polling larger PLU reports. That communications error has been corrected in build 521.
Build 521 now displays the edited time field on the Employee Time report.
In the past, Job Location Tables that contained over 16 locations would result in a block size mismatch while doing a Program Save. This error has been corrected.
Aesthetic changes were made to the reports for the Sharp 750 and Sharp 3300 registers.
Currently users with a 2 register IRC master / satellite system can retrieve consolidated data as well as individual totals from both the master and satellite on the PLU, Department, Hourly, and Transaction reports. To capture consolidated data users should select the All option on the report selection screen. To retrieve mater totals select StandAlone, and for the satellite data select number 01.
Currently the Sharp 3300 Keyboard Maintenance area is under construction. Version Six does save and send the file, but users are not allowed to maintain the keyboard.
