The multi-select Save and Send options on the Communications menu have now been implemented. Users may click on the Save or Send Programs buttons and use the ctrl or shift keys to select multiple files.
In this release there are new help files. They include the report export formats, keyboard programming instructions, new FAQ descriptions, etc.
On the CRS 3000 many corrections have been made to the user interface within the maintenance area. Reformatting was done on such areas as the PLU, Authority Levels, Misc. Control, and RS232 Configuration forms.
Some users were noticing incorrect PLU descriptors on their CRS 3000 PLU reports. This error has been corrected.
The Invalid Argument to Time and/or Date encode errors on the CRS 3000 Polling and Price Schedule files have been fixed. The error resulted from the incompatibility between the software and the codes that the register uses to disable these features. Currently, if the Price Schedule area is disabled the starting and ending dates will be displayed as the current date. If the starting and ending dates are set to 00/00/00 in the register the software will display 12/30/1899 due to the fact that the entered date is invalid.
On the Samsung 6500 Version 1 register the computer’s date and time can be sent through the software.
ROM versions are now included in the Samsung 1000 machine selection area. Due to this users may want to recreate their machines and select a ROM version. Be sure to use the same program id on the newly created machine to allow the new machine access to the old machine’s data.
The reports section on the Sharp 750 and 3300 have been greatly advanced. Users can now conduct reports such as GLU, Server, Daily Net, etc.
Note: Some of the reports require changes to be made to the register in order to store the information properly. Note2: Users who have old report definitions should delete and recreate their machines to guarantee best performance.
GENERAL NOTE: It is recommended that if any errors are encountered with this new version or any existing users should first take a print screen or the error. Then they should minimize the screens associated with the error(s) and close the main software screen to exit the software. It is best to try to avoid shutting down the program by the ctrl alt delete method. This method could result in corruption within the software databases.
