V7 Polling: Sam4s 7000,
7040 and SPS2000 Customers
PC/POLL is continually
working on providing our dealers and customers with advanced features and
functionality. For the Sam4s line the programming staff has recently added
enhanced reporting options, such as PLU by Class 1-3 and PLU by Group 2-3.
These options allow customers and dealers the ability to sort PLU report
data from multiple viewpoints.
Programming has also
expanded our save and send options to include full tax and tare programs,
descriptor programs, memory allocations and on the SPS2000 a save/send
option on the Table Management feature.
With these additions to
the program and report lists a change was needed to the sequencing numbering
system. Unfortunately, these enhancements will require users of the Sam4s
7000, 7040 and SPS2000 to rebuild their script listings. Again we are sorry
for this inconvenience, below are the steps needed to complete a script
update. If your V7 software is currently not configured to use scripts,
then this update is not necessary. Thank you and take care.
1.
Open V7 Polling
2.
Select Polling from the program selector window
3.
Click on the setup tab, found on the left side of the screen
4.
Select Polling Schedule
5.
Click on the 1st script that appears within the
lower grid area
6.
A Script ID, Machine ID and script detail should be filled in
7.
Write down or remember the items that appear within the script
detail area. To view Poll Report options, click on the desired report and
click the Edit button
8.
After you have your information recorded, click on each script
detail item and click on the Delete button (Not the – button)
9.
Using the script items area readd your events to your script
10.
When finished, click on the checkmark button to post your
changes
11.
Repeat for all scripts
Since the Script Id is not
being altered, all scheduling and calendar operations should remain
unaffected. Sorry again for this inconvenience, please contact
