Keyboard
The keyboard overlay is an added feature in the Version 6 program that is
available for purchase. The following section of the manual explains the
options that exist in this portion of the program. The keyboard section of
the program is found in the Maintain area of Version 6.
In order to use the Keyboard program in Version Six users must Save All
Programs before using the keyboard and also have a printer set up on the
computer. Users may experience errors if they enter a keyboard area that
has not first been saved from the register.
Note: On the Sharp 3300 it is recommended that users Save ALL Programs and
Send ALL Programs every time changes are made to the keyboard at either the
register or the PC. The 3300 keyboard program is stored in multiple
program locations.
Edit

Multi Select
Multi select allows an action to be performed on a group of keys at one
time. (Either click on Multi Select or press Ctrl-M.) Enter in the
correct information for the row and column numbers, and select either Cut, Copy,
or Delete.

Clear All
Selecting Clear All (or pressing Ctrl-Delete) will clear the keyboard
entirely. The deleted keys will move to the used keys area.
Note: This area holds about 91 keys, depending on the placement of dual
and quad keys. When this area becomes full, the program discards the first
keys to make room for more. Also, the area is cleared upon exiting the
Calendar area.
View Used Keys
The Used Keys area displays recently deleted or modified keys. (Click
on the area or press Ctrl-V to open the area.) Right-click on a key and
select copy in order to paste it back onto the keyboard.
Zoom
The Zoom menu is located on the top toolbar and contains options for zooming
in and zooming out on the keyboard layout. Pressing Ctrl - I zooms in and
Ctrl - O zooms out.

Print
All of the printing options are located on the Print menu, which is on the
main screen.

Grids
Selecting this option prints the grids, or key outlines, for the boxes with
no keyboard allocation. Choosing this also prints a box around the
keyboard layout showing where the page needs to be cut.
Note: The program displays grid lines whether or not they will be
printed. Also, keys that are not blank will always have grid lines around
them.
Page Orientation
This menu allows the user to select whether the keyboard layout should print
using the landscape or portrait settings.

Print
The Print option displays the current settings for the Windows default
printer. Press Ctrl-P or click on the Print option. Select the
desired printer and the correct options, then press Print.
Note: When printing dual keyboards, one keyboard layout will print on each
page.
