Send a Program

The operation Send a Program is very similar to Save a Program, except that this option will transfer the programs from computer to the selected register.

Click Send a Program, highlight the machine needed and press Select. The program will attempt to establish communications. If this is successful, the Program Selector window will allow you to select which program to be sent. Continue choosing programs until all of the necessary transfers have been made. Click Cancel on both the Program Selector window and on the Communications window.

Send Programs

Send Programs will send a list of programs to the register without forcing you to select each one separately. Click on Send Programs, choose the register from the list, then press Select. After Version 6 establishes communications with the register the Program Selector window will be displayed. Hold down the shift key and click on each program that you would like to send to the cash register. After all programs have been selected, click the Accept button. Version 6 will then send all of the programs you have selected.

Send All Programs

This option will send all programs to the selected register. Click on the Send All Programs button, highlight the correct machine and press Select. The program will attempt to establish communications with the register by saving the Memory Allocation. If this is successful, the program will continue to send each program to the register.
