To run the schedule in the background, minimize the window. Close the Communications Menu and continue using Version 6, or minimize the program. As long as Version 6 is not completely closed, the schedule will run.

Duplicate

Selecting Duplicate will display a Schedule Maintenance window with the same information as the first schedule. However, the field for Schedule ID will be empty. Fill in this area, change any other options that need to be altered, and press Accept. This will create a new schedule.

Edit

Highlight the name of the schedule that needs to be altered and click on Edit. To add a new event to an existing schedule, click on Add Event. To edit an existing event, click on Edit Event. This area will allow the user to change any or all options of the event. To completely delete an event in the schedule, select Delete Event. Clicking on Add will display a blank Schedule Maintenance window.

Enter a unique name for the Schedule ID. This name will indicate to which schedule you are referring in the rest of the program.

Then, click Add Event.

When this screen appears, select the name of the machine to be polled and the script to use. If you wish to edit or create new machines or scripts, click on the appropriate button. Next, select a time for the poll to occur and click Accept. Note: The poll will not run on its own at the scheduled time. It must be selected and the countdown window displayed. Click here to view more information on selecting a schedule to run.

After creating all of the Scheduled Events for the Schedule, click Accept on the Schedule Maintenance window.
