Hourly and Day Part Report (TEC FS2600)

It is possible that some users will receive values that do not match the register tape when polling the FS2600 Hourly and Day Part Reports.

Here is why this happens.

For example, the register is setup to have hourly ranges of 30 minutes each.

Sales are rung up at the following times: 2:00, 2:15, 2:33, 2:45, 3:05.  Then the Hourly Report is polled at 3:10.  The report will only display the totals for the first four sales.  The 3:05 sale will not appear until 3:31, after the 30 minute hourly period has expired.

The Day Part Report works the same way, except that the Day is divided into six sections.

One way to receive accurate totals at the computer is to first print the report at the register.  Then return to the Version 6 software and take the report.  Running the manual print at the register forces the register to send ALL of the current totals to the computer during polling.
